Conceived as a private estate retreat for gathering, recreation, and renewal, this Shingle-style complex expands a North Shore estate onto an adjoining parcel. At its heart, a soaring atrium rises through multiple levels of entertainment, wellness, and sporting spaces, unified by an octagonal skylight, suspended chandelier, and iron spiral stair. A domed glass conservatory opens the architecture toward broad lawns and a formal rose garden, binding the retreat to its landscape. Expansive in program yet intimate in character, it creates a destination within the estate.
This watercolor rendering depicts the North Shore retreat as a long Shingle-style estate composition, with a stone base, red terracotta roof, dormers, cupolas, and a central glazed pavilion. The image communicates the project's traditional exterior language while anticipating the contemporary recreation and entertainment program within.
The multi-story atrium connects the retreat's lower-level recreation and wellness spaces with the upper floors through a decorative steel spiral stair, gallery railings, and a glass roof. In this luxury residential amenity building, the stair hall becomes both circulation and architectural event.
This rendering studies the vertical atrium at the heart of the North Shore entertainment retreat, where paneled walls, iron railings, arched openings, and a suspended celestial chandelier meet beneath an octagonal glass observation deck. The space links the retreat's modern amenities through a dramatic architectural core.
At the top of the North Shore retreat, the glass-roofed observatory extends the atrium upward into a light-filled room for viewing and reflection. The rendering shows exposed steel structure matching the steel spiral stair, a central celestial globe integrated into the chandelier, and broad landscape views reinforcing the project's mix of recreation, study, and panache.
This North Shore luxury estate retreat includes a white glass conservatory with a domed cupola, decorative mullions, classical gables, and a stone base set into the lawn. The garden pavilion extends the project’s entertainment and gathering spaces while creating a light-filled architectural counterpoint to the adjoining Shingle-style residence.
The aerial perspective frames this luxury Shingle-style retreat within the larger North Shore estate, showing its red roofscape, circular court, glass conservatory, lawns, paths, and surrounding gardens. The composition reflects a private place for entertaining, wellness, recreation, and connection to the landscape.
